I’m an Illustrator and Community Artist, living and making work in Scotland.
With over 12 years of experience working as an illustrator, I have also created work for children’s theatre, including The Letter J, of which I am part of the creative collective.
Working with clients including the BBC, Edinburgh Fringe, Glasgow Museums, The Commonwealth Games, Stirling University, Visible Fictions Theatre, Stirling Photography Festival and Wildhood - A Children’s Art Festival, I have a varied folio with a distinct sense of style.
I’ve toured the UK with children’s theatre company The Letter J and delivered creative workshops across the UK to young and older audiences.
I’m an independent publisher of greetings cards, making work under the guise of The Grey Earl with a modern approach and with humour at its core. I’ve have spent my career developing a children’s picture book aesthetic, with work that has exhibited across the UK and internationally, including shows at the National Gallery in Edinburgh.
With years of experience delivering community art workshops in various settings, from schools to art festivals and more recently I developed a series of online videos (with the my favourite collaborator & daughter Averie!) called ‘The Toilet Roll Sessions’ all designed to support both children and adults discover their creativity.
If you’d like to discuss a project, please do get in touch, I’d love to find out more.
